What It Is
What is Leadership Companion?
Leadership Companion is a private AI thinking partner for leaders. A companion that builds a deep understanding of you across every conversation, remembers what matters to you, holds you to what you commit to, and is available whenever you need to think something through. Built on the belief that the best thinking partner is one that knows you well, asks the questions no one else dares ask, and has no agenda except you.
How does the memory work?
Every session builds on the last. The companion holds what you share: the people you name, the decisions you work through, the patterns it notices, the commitments you make, and whether you follow through on them. Over time it builds a picture of you that deepens with every conversation. You do not need to recap each time. The companion already knows where you were. That accumulated context is the product's core value. It is what makes session ten categorically different from session one.
What topics can it help with?
Anything a trusted business advisor would help you think through. Cash flow and pricing. Hiring and team dynamics. Difficult conversations you have been avoiding. Strategy and prioritisation. Execution rhythm. Personal resilience and energy. Decision-making under pressure. Partnership alignment. Growth funding. Compliance and risk. The companion draws on deep specialist knowledge across all of these areas. When you are talking about a people problem, it automatically brings that expertise forward. When you shift to a cash decision, it shifts with you. You never have to select anything or configure anything. You just talk about what is on your mind.
What kind of leader is it built for?
Founders, SME owners, managing directors, and senior leaders who make consequential decisions, often alone, and want a thinking partner available at any hour. It is also great for leaders wanting to be promoted to think at the next level. Particularly suited to people who think deeply, value privacy, and want to think better rather than outsource their thinking.
What will my first session be like?
You open the app and start talking about whatever is on your mind. There is no onboarding wizard. No personality quiz. No setup process. Just a conversation. The companion will ask you some questions to understand your context: what you do, what your business looks like, what is weighing on you right now. By the end of your first session, most people say something along the lines of: "That was different from anything I have experienced with AI." That reaction is the bar we hold ourselves to.
How It Compares
How is it different from ChatGPT or Claude?
ChatGPT and Claude are general-purpose AI tools. They are powerful, but they do not know you and they do not remember over time. Leadership Companion is built for the opposite: to know you as a specific person and hold your context over time. After five sessions, the companion knows your team by name, your decision patterns under pressure, the conversation you have been putting off, and the goal that is driving everything. No other tool has that. There is also a deeper difference in approach. General AI tools tell you things. Leadership Companion helps you work out what you partly already know. And then there is what happens between sessions. ChatGPT waits for you to open it. Leadership Companion does not. It sends a Monday morning focus message based on what you discussed last week. It follows up on commitments you made. No general AI tool does that.
Is it a competitor to having a business coach?
A different thing entirely. A good coach works with you periodically, costs significant money, and brings their own framework to your situation. Leadership Companion is available at any hour for any decision, costs a fraction of coaching, and is built around your framework, not someone else's. Many people use both. The companion handles the day-to-day thinking, the decisions that cannot wait, the 11pm moment when something is keeping you awake. A coach handles the deeper developmental work. They complement each other well.
How does it compare to peer groups like Vistage, EO, or YPO?
Peer groups like Vistage cost $10,000 to $20,000 per year. They meet once a month, and they are enormously valuable for the perspective you get from other leaders in the room. Leadership Companion is not a replacement for that. What it fills is the other 29 days. The Tuesday night before a difficult board conversation. The moment you realise that the cash forecast does not work. The decision you need to think through before the next peer group meeting, not after. Available at any hour, remembering everything, at a fraction of the cost.
Will it actually understand my specific business?
By your third session, it knows your team, your revenue model, your open decisions, and the things that keep you up at night. By month three, it understands your business and your patterns better than most advisors who see you once a month. It does not rely on generic advice. It draws on deep specialist knowledge across more than twenty domains and adapts every response to your specific context: your industry, your stage, your people, your history with it.
Pricing and Membership
How much does it cost?
Founding member pricing starts at AUD $29 per month for the Starter plan. The Pro plan, which includes voice conversations, file uploads, persistent decision tracking, pattern recognition across sessions, and quarterly leadership reviews, is AUD $49 per month for founding members. These are founding member rates, locked in for your first year. When founding membership closes, Pro moves to $59 per month.
What is included in Starter versus Pro?
Starter ($29/month) includes full text-based conversation, complete memory across all sessions, all specialist knowledge areas, Monday morning focus messages, Friday reflections, and decision tracking and follow-ups for your first three weeks. Pro ($49/month founding, $59 standard) adds voice conversation, file uploads (drop in contracts, P&Ls, spreadsheets for in-conversation analysis), persistent decision tracking and follow-ups that continue beyond three weeks, pattern recognition across sessions, and quarterly leadership reviews that show how you have developed over time. Both plans include the full depth of the companion's behavioural science. Both get the Monday and Friday messages. Both get the complete memory system.
What is a founding member?
Founding members are the first people in. You get access before the public launch, the lowest pricing we will ever offer, and a direct line to the founders as we build. Your experience and feedback directly shape the product. There are a limited number of founding member spots. When they are gone, they are gone.
Is there a way to try it before committing?
Yes. Founding membership comes with a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If it is not for you, we will refund your first payment in full. No questions asked.
What is your refund policy?
If you are not satisfied within your first 14 days, contact us and we will refund your first payment in full. After that, you can cancel anytime and your subscription simply stops at the end of your billing period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No lock-in, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings at any time. If you are just going through a busy period rather than wanting to leave, we also offer a pause option so you do not lose your history and memory.
Privacy and Security
Who can see my conversations?
Nobody. Your conversations are private by design. The architecture is built so that no one at Leadership Companion, including the founders, can access the content of what you share. Leaders share things in private that they cannot share anywhere else. That safety is structural, built into the architecture from day one. Everything is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your conversation data is not used to train any AI model. This is confirmed via our API terms with our AI providers. Your data is yours.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in Australia. It is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We do not share it with third parties.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible for 180 days after cancellation in case you decide to come back. After that, it is permanently deleted from our systems. If you want immediate deletion on cancellation, contact us and we will action that within 48 hours.
I work in a corporate environment with strict data governance. Can I use this?
Leadership Companion runs fully encrypted on Anthropic's Claude via AWS, one of the most widely approved AI providers in corporate environments. The product is currently web-based with no email or calendar integrations, which means there is no access to your corporate systems. Your conversations are standalone and private. Your employer can see that you visited leadershipcompanion.co, but they cannot see what you wrote or received. If your organisation has specific data governance requirements, contact us and we can walk through the architecture in detail.
Which AI models power Leadership Companion?
Leadership Companion currently runs on Anthropic's Claude, hosted on AWS infrastructure in Australia. We chose Anthropic specifically because of their approach to AI safety, their privacy commitments, and the quality of the model.
Practical Details
How do I access it?
Leadership Companion is web-based. Access it through your browser at leadershipcompanion.co on any device: desktop, tablet, or mobile. No app download required.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The interface is designed for mobile use. Many people use it on their phone, particularly for quick thinking-through moments between meetings or at the end of the day. On Pro, you can also speak directly and the companion transcribes and responds. You can also take photos of documents on your phone and upload them for analysis.
How much time does it take?
As much or as little as you want. Some leaders have a five-minute check-in. Some have a 45-minute deep dive on a pricing decision or a difficult conversation they need to prepare for. The Monday and Friday messages take 30 seconds to read. There is nothing to prepare, no meetings to attend, no homework.
Do I need to be tech-savvy to use it?
If you can send a message, you can use Leadership Companion. The interface is a conversation. There is nothing technical to configure, no dashboards to learn, no modules to set up. You just talk about what is on your mind.
Is it integrated with email or calendar?
The current version is a standalone conversational companion. It will reach out to you twice a week: a Monday morning focus message based on your open priorities, and a Friday afternoon reflection. It also follows up on commitments you have made during conversations. All delivered by email or SMS, your choice. Deeper integration with email and calendar is planned for a future release. We will tell members before it happens and give you full control over what, if anything, you connect.
Can my team use it?
Leadership Companion is designed as a private individual tool. Each person has their own account, their own memory, and their own private space. Your team members can each have their own subscription, but conversations are never shared between accounts. B2B and team licensing is on the roadmap. If you are interested in bringing Leadership Companion to your organisation, reach out directly and we can talk through what that might look like.
Is it built for Australian businesses?
Designed here, built here, and priced in AUD. The context, the people behind it, and the way it thinks about business are Australian. That said, it is available to leaders globally and the companion adapts to wherever you are and whatever you are navigating.
Who Built It
Who built Leadership Companion?
Leadership Companion is built by two passionate founders who love to help people become even better. Kristina is an educational psychologist with 25 years working with leaders across government, enterprise, and SMEs. She holds a Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Sydney and is a certified HeartMath practitioner and Clarity4D Business Partner. The psychology underpinning how the companion thinks, listens, and responds is her IP. Tobias is an engineer and AI architect who trained at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and has been building and working with AI systems since 1996. His career spans Amazon Web Services, McKinsey, Macquarie, CBA, and several startups. He designed and built the technical architecture, the memory system, the routing intelligence, and the infrastructure. They come from entirely different worlds and contest ideas without ego. That is what makes the product what it is.
